Bruce Knight - Associate Pastor

Bruce Knight is the Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, coordinating the ministries of the Sunday School/Connect Groups, Prayer, and Evangelism. He completed his education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Bruce's ministry experience began in 1993 and includes youth ministry, singles ministry, and pastoring. Being a native of Monroe, Louisiana, he's an LSU football fan, enjoys hunting, and cajun food.

Bruce married Christianne, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana, in 1997. She completed her counseling education at Louisiana College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and John Brown University in Arkansas. Currently, she is a stay-at-home mom.

Bruce and Christianne came to North Dakota in 2002, and arrived in Williston in 2009. They liked North Dakota so much that they decided to have their own little NoDaks: Landon (2005) and Micah (2006).

I don't know what to say...I Love God and want to teach all the kids about Him because if you know Him you will Love Him. We're told to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength, so it is our passion to teach the youth God's Word. Read it, study it, know it, because as I said already, if you read the Word you'll know God and knowing God will cause you to love Him. God is good!

I've been married to Amy, the most wonderful woman in the world since 1991...she is simply amazing!

We have 3 sons and 1 foster daughter. The boys are 20, 18, and soon to be 16, and Adrianna is 20 months.
